Our Alice in Wonderland Croquet Game with the Tweedles
If this blog post doesn’t make sense, it isn’t supposed to!
A Vintage Viewmaster Reel and Slides of Alice in Wonderland
Curiouser and Curiouser…..
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn’t be, and what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see?”
As part of our Alice In Wonderland Easter we wanted to showcase the croquet game with the Queen of Hearts, The White Rabbit, and The Tweedles.
The Flamingos were important as they were used as croquet mallets.
The Red Roses were also Important, as well.
Our House of Cards
These are the cookies that we made for our Alice in Wonderland Easter.
We made some of them to look like cards. I had hoped to stack some of them to form a house of cards. But this is as close to that as I could get.
Here we are playing checkers with the Wonderland characters.
Our Tea, Cookies, and Checkers Game
Not to mention a deck of cards…..
Gordon Playing Cards
“Oh, pooh. I’m not afraid of you. Why, you’re nothing but a pack of cards.”

Such a lovely day to daydream…..
Hmm… “It would be so nice if something would make sense for a change.”

The Croquet Game
Queen of Hearts: Now, where do you come from?
Alice: Well, I’m trying to find my way home…
Queen of Hearts: Your way? All ways here are my ways!
Alice: Yes, I know, but I was just thinking…
Queen of Hearts: Curtsy while you’re thinking. It saves time.
Alice: [curtsying] Yes, Your Majesty, but I just wanted to ask you…
Queen of Hearts: I’ll ask the questions! Do you play croquet?
Alice: Why, yes, Your Majesty.
Queen of Hearts: Then let the game begin!

I Shall Start
Oh, Dear, I seem to have missed!
Oh Look, It’s the Tweedles!
Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum
(Monk and Sugar)
They are the cutest Tweedles in all the land.
Sugar, Tweedle Dee, sticking her tongue out at Monk, Tweedle Dum.
Well, I do seem to be winning.
The Red Queen: “Someone’s head is going to roll for this.”
Alice: Curiosity often leads to trouble.
Dedicated to our little sweet Sugar that died June 19, 2017.
