Italian Sangwitches

Buongiorno
(Good Morning)

What a Great Day to Have a Cafe and a Breakfast Sangwitch
(The breakfast sandwich that you see above is something I picked up in the frozen foods section of the grocery store. It is a Turkey Sausage, Egg Whites, Cheese, and Ciabatta Bread breakfast. I simply cook the Egg Whites and Turkey Sausage in the oven on 400F for about 15 minutes. Flipping them over half way through, AND, hiding the Egg Whites underneath Aluminum Foil so that it doesn’t brown. I also toast the Ciabatta Bread in the Toaster to brown. I then add a sweet Italian Mustard, some Salt, Freshly Ground Black Pepper, and Turmeric to the Egg Whites. Put the sandwich together, add some coffee, and I then have the best breakfast!)

A Delicious Morning Breakfast

Easy To Go, If So….

I realize that it is very convenient to buy the ready made Breakfast Sandwiches at the Grocery Store, but it is also quite easy to make your own.
——————————————————————————————
I would like to state that we have many Italian Sandwiches throughout our website. I decided to start a new website page as all of my other ones were becoming too heavy in content. I created these Sangwitches myself and I wanted to share them with you. I hope you enjoy!
There is just something about an Italian Sangwitch that is so satisfying and tastes so much better than other sandwiches.

Sangwitches:
As I understand it, it is common for first generation Italian and Spanish speakers, trying to approximate the combination of sounds which don’t exist in their native languages. The closest sound in their phonic inventory is a G, hence the S-A-N-G Witches. I like it!

Frying Basil In Olive Oil

This was quite easy.
You just want to place some Olive Oil into a sturdy frying pan, bring up to a Medium Heat, then add some of your Basil Leaves to the Oil.

You just want them to cook a minute or two, flipping them over.

Drain onto a Paper Towel

Drain Onto Paper Towels

My Italian, and Mexican Open Faced Sangwitches

—————————————————————————————

Ingredients:
(I am giving you all of the ingredients for both sandwiches here. I’m not keeping the Mexican ingredients separated from the Italian ingredients. I do explain in the write up below which ingredients go with which sandwich.)
————————————————————————–
Ciabatta Loaf
Uncured Pepperoni, as much as you like, fried.
Chorizo, as much as you like, fried.
Tomatoes: Campari and Roma, sliced.
Onions: Red and White, sliced.
Sundried Tomato Pesto
————————————————————————–
Also, I used one of:
Our Spicy Hot Mexican Cranberry Sauce’s

Click Here For: Spicy Hot Mexican Cranberries For The Recipe
———————————————————————
Cheese: Queso Fresco and Provolone, as many as you like.
Sweet Italian Mustard
Flat-Leaf Parsley
Mexican Chili Crisp
Cilantro Lime Salsa Cremosa
Fresh Basil
———————————————————————————-

The first thing that I did was to fry the Uncured Pepperoni and the Chorizo on a Medium Heat just to brown them.
Because they are so greasy you needn’t add any oil to the pans.

Place the finished Pepperoni and Chorizo onto paper towels to absorb the grease.
————————————————————————–

Although you can use any bread that you like, I already had this one so Ciabatta it is!

I have a few products pictured above on the far left that I did not end up using.

(I didn’t really know on which of my Italian website pages to put this. Mainly because I really didn’t know what it was that I had created? Was it a casserole? Was it a sandwich? I really didn’t know? But, I decided to put it here because to me it could be an open-faced sandwich eaten with a fork.)
