Dirty Dawgs

I keep my Granddaughter anywhere between 2 and 5 days a week. We tend to do a lot of coloring and drawing, and plenty of scribbling. A favorite of ours is the Bluey Cartoon. We love Bluey and the Heeler Family, along with all of their friends. The characters on Bluey are all Dogs. Some days when Isabelle leaves I will not pack away the drawings because I know we will be doing them again the following day. That is what happened here. I left out her drawings and decided just to place dinner on top of them. I then decided to just write the recipe on the paper using her markers.

The Recipe:

Dirty Rice
Turkey Kielbasa Sausage
Foot Long Buns
Hot Mustard, Gator Swamp Mustard
Hard Boiled Eggs
Ragin’ Cajun Sweet Jalapeno Relish
———————————————————————————

I grilled the Kielbasa Sausage in our Cast Iron Skillet that had the grill marks, and made up a batch of Dirty Rice (from a box.) Shhh… 🙂
I toasted the Hot Dog Buns in the Oven to make them a bit brown in order to better hold the Dirty Rice without falling apart.
Boiled Some Eggs Too!

I used my hand to crush the Hard Boiled Eggs.
I wanted them to look a bit rustic and not neatly chopped.
Top With Anything You Like!
I Used a Hot Mustard and Some Sweet/Hot Relish
